Natalie Biagi Fundraiser - PRAYER WARRIORS NEEDED!

Sunday, December 23 is the last day to make a donation and receive a t-shirt and/or dog tag.  Rob Biagi has touched the lives of many POP families through his music ministry at VBS.  His daughter, Natalie (2 1/2  yr. old) has been diagnosed with leukemia.  She is undergoing an aggressive treatment plan which has led to significant medical expenses for the Biagi family.  We are raising funds and Thrivent will match the dollars raised (up to $5,000).  Come by the Children’s Ministry kiosk in the Fellowship Center to make a donation.  Questions: Barb vonBehren at 972-447-9887, ext. 478 or barb.vonbehren@princeofpeace.org

Food Pantry

And this is God’s command: To believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us.  1 John 3:23

Do you feel called to share Jesus’ love with the world in a more tangible way?

Scripture says that when all else is stripped away, all that remains is faith, hope, and love, and of these three, love is the greatest.  We invite you to join us as our love for others goes beyond something we FEEL to something we DO.  Below are a few of the opportunities available for you to express your love to those in need this holiday season.  We thank you in advance for how your actions will testify to your faith in God, your hope in Christ and your love for our Lord and one another.

Bring a Toy for a Child to help support Metrocrest

And please continue to stock our food pantry as you
have generously been doing!  THANK YOU!

We ought always to thank God for you, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.  2 Thessalonians 1:3

Yes!  A successful program requires many people with various talents to serve our children each week.  If you would like to serve with infants and toddlers contact Rachel Sosinski at rachel.sosinski@princeofpeace.org. If you would like to serve with preschool through Kindergarten or can help during the week assembling supplies, contact Diane Duda at diane.duda@princeofpeace.org

Christian School

Early Learning Center

With over 27 years of educational experience, Prince of Peace Christian School will introduce an Early Learning Center in August 2008.  This program will be devoted to the developmental needs of children from six weeks – two years old. This program will work in conjunction with Prince of Peace Christian School to prepare children for a seamless transition into preschool.

We anticipate this program will be overwhelmingly popular, so we will be offering advance placement to our Prince of Peace families and church members. During the month of January, you will have the opportunity to enroll prior to the public.

Prices for the program available online!
