It takes EVERYONE in our church community to help our guests feel welcome! So...where will you serve? We need Ushers, Greeters, Communion Servers and Acolytes for Lent, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter.  Sign up at the Information Desk on Sundays or...

Kazakstan Missionaries

Missionaries Morris and Jean Olson have been working as LCMS missionaries all over the world since 1994 and most recently are in Kazakstan. They have been working for so long and have been struggling with the tough ministry life there and feeling alone in the fight for the gospel. They had begun searching for ways to grow spiritually while they work giving so much to the congregations there. They found a church to worship with through podcast that was LCMS and in Dallas, TX.  Pastor Luke Biggs and the congregation at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church have been ministering to them all the way in Russia!!!

Send Morris and Jean an email of encouragement and support:  wermojo@yahoo.com

Kenya Update

A Note from Pastor Tobias:

March 9, 2008

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I hope you are doing well. God gave me the honor of sharing His word at church today from II Cor.5:18-21 on the Ministry of Reconciliation. It was wonderful and I plan to continue with the same topic next Sunday. We had a total of 70 in the Main Service and a pastor who was displaced during the violence visited and worshiped with us today. In Sunday School, we had 42 kids in attendance. Please pray for a crusade meeting that we plan to have as from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd of this month. I am really excited about your coming in the next three weeks and I have asked the church to be praying. I tried sending some pictures on Friday and they did not get through. I will send you pictures of the construction work going on tomorrow. Kindly remember to bring me audio CDs that have hymns as I had earlier requested you. God bless and pass my love to the whole church over there. Yours in Christ Jesus.
